Neulich fragte ich ein befreundetes Ehepaar: „Wie habt ihr euch eigentlich kennen und lieben gelernt?“ Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wusste ich allerdings noch nicht, dass dies der Auftakt zu einer ganz besonderen Liebesgeschichte werden sollte. Zunächst herrschte Stille. Er suchte ihren Blick. Sie schaute zu ihm rüber. Dann lächelten sich beide eine gefühlte Ewigkeit an. Endlich brach er das Schweigen: „Das ist eine lange Geschichte.“
Erst zögerlich, dann immer leidenschaftlicher tauchten die beiden tief in ihre bewegte und bewegende Liebesbeziehung ein und ließen unzählige Momente Revue passieren. Ihre Augen strahlten und blitzten immer wieder auf. Wie einen Pingpong-Ball spielten sie sich die Sätze zu, vollendeten die angefangene Gedanken des anderen oder fielen sich gegenseitig ins Wort. An der ein oder anderen Stelle schmunzelten sie verschämt und kosteten die Erinnerungen an die vielen Stationen ihrer Liebe weidlich aus. Dann wieder lachten sie laut auf oder wurden nachdenklich. Das Schöne war: Sie nahmen mich mit auf ihrer langen Reise durch die Zeit und über verschiedene Kontinente. Ihre Geschichte war voller Überraschungen und Wendungen. Sie berührte mich. Es war eine Freude, den beiden zuzuhören. Und zugleich war ich dankbar, dass sie ihre Geschichte mit mir teilten.
Die Liebe der Menschen zu Geschichten ist alt, sehr alt. Jeder von uns hat seine eigenen Erlebnisse und Stories. Und doch genießen wir es und es bereichert uns, Erzählungen zu hören oder zu lesen, die unter die Haut gehen. Sie erzeugen Emotionen und Bilder in unserem Gehirn. Und die brauchen wir zum Überleben. Denn unser Gehirn setzt unentwegt Ereignisse in Bezug zueinander, ob real oder fiktional, um sich so die Umwelt zu erklären.
Als Journalistin komme ich mit vielen Menschen zusammen und lerne deren Geschichten kennen. Viele davon veröffentliche ich in Magazinen und Zeitungen. Doch es gibt noch so viele Geschichten zu erzählen, spannend und packend zugleich. Ich lade Sie ein, mit mir in meinen Büchern in diese Geschichten einzutauchen.
